The Triptych

This triptych is my testament to transformation and self-reinvention. Each of the three panels functions like a blueprint of imagination: they echo the style of architectural drawings, yet they’re infused with the spirit of childhood. In creating them, I became the architect not just of structures but of a new narrative that turns once-abandoned toys into a chosen family of characters.

The central panel, the heart of the triptych, began as a reflection on what we leave behind—those old toys that symbolize the past selves we outgrow or forget. Within the context of the show “Suffocate the Bourgeois,” these works explore the way I, and many people, rewrite our own histories. By turning these abandoned, almost melancholy toys into bright, playful companions full of light pinks, blues, and yellows, I’ve crafted a new personal mythology.

The paintings are not just artworks but became companions that brought color and playfulness back into my studio and into my life.
